Muziek verfrissend en eerlijk doordrenkt met elementen uit soul, r&amp;b, rock en gospel. Zo uniek en indrukwekkend was zijn debuutalbum Walk<br>That Fine Thin Line, dat het Nagy een prestigieuze debuutnominatie voor Beste Nieuwe Artiest opleverde van de Blues Foundation in Memphis, evenals lovende kritieken van moeilijk te behagen critici bij topmedia als Down Beat, All About jazz, Blues Revue, Chicago Tribune, Detroit Free Press, Living Blues, Hittin&#8217;The Note, Elmore Magazine en meer. DJ&#8217;s in heel Noord-Amerika, Europa en Australi\u00eb reageerden enthousiast op Nagy&#8217;s muziek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">Nagy legde zijn eigen lat een aantal stapjes hoger met de dynamische opvolger, Fell Toward None. Ken Bays van Rollingstone.com noemde de release een van de beste van 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">Na zijn indrukwekkende tweede plaat kreeg Nagy de eer om het jaar daarop op te treden in de B.B. King&#8217;s Blues Club in Memphis voor de Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (met iconen als Buddy Guy en Allen Toussaint) terwijl zijn ster bleef stijgen. Nagy&#8217;s derde release, Stranded, een eclectische mix van originele btues, soul en r&amp;b uitgebracht in februari 2015, ontving vier sterren van Soul Bag, DownBeat, evenals veel lof van Vintage Guitar, Blues in Britain en meer. Op 1 oktober 2024 bracht Nagy zijn vierde solo-cd uit, getiteld The Real You, die nu al lovende kritieken krijgt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\"><em>&#8220;Greg, ik heb net deze hele plaat beluisterd. Fantastisch, het hele ding. The Real You is een R&amp;B-klassieker! Allemaal eersteklas uitvoeringen en nummers. En wat een soulvolle stem!&#8221; &#8211; <strong>Duke Robillard<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">Greg toerde afgelopen drie jaar met de Larry McCray Band en treedt op in zijn eigen shows.
