Misty Blues heeft opnames gemaakt met Charles Neville, Joe Louis Walker, Eric Gales, Justin Johnson, Kat Riggins, Early Times en Matt Cusson. Ze hebben ook geopend voor traditionele en hedendaagse bluesartiesten als Tab Benoit, John Primer, Roomful Of Blues, Albert Cummings en Michael Powers. In 2019 werd de band finalist in de International Blues Challenge. \u201cI\u2019m Too Old For Games: A Live Tribute To Odetta\u201d is het 16e album van de band, hun derde live-album, tweede tribute-album en tweede akoestische album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">Een passieproject dat al sinds het midden van de jaren negentig aan het broeden was voor de leadzangeres van Misty Blues, Gina Coleman, wiens ontmoeting met de legendarische Odetta in de Bottomline club in New York City als gast van Arlo Guthrie een krachtige indruk achterliet en een baanbrekende invloed was, h\u00e9t moment in haar carri\u00e8re. Die inspiratie kwam rond in de vorm van een live opgenomen album in mei 2023, \u201cTell Me Who You Are: A Live Tribute To Odetta.\u201d Dat album stond 24 opeenvolgende weken op nummer 1 Traditional Folk Album in de Roots Music Report-hitlijst. Zelfs met dat succes maakte Gina zich zorgen over het besef dat het een eerste eerbetoon met een volledige album was aan de Queen of American Folk en maakte ze zich zorgen over het feit dat Odetta\u2019s oeuvre in de vergetelheid raakte.
