Decennia lang speelde Pittman met en voor muzikanten als Sam Myers, The Texas Blues Guitar Summit (met Anson Funderburgh en Mike Morgan), Double Trouble, Susan Tedeschi, The Moeller Brothers en vele anderen, maar hij zette ook een aantal serieuze mijlpalen met zijn eigen, veelgeprezen albums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\"><strong><em>Pittman vertelt over zijn muzikale reizen:<\/em><\/strong><br>\u201cSinds het uitbrengen van mijn eerste album in 1998 heb ik een weg afgelegd met veel bochten en een aantal interessante stops onderweg. Tijdens deze reis ontmoet je onderweg mensen die iets in jou zien wat je misschien zelf niet eens ziet. Ik heb het geluk gehad veel van zulke mensen te ontmoeten die mij hebben aangemoedigd om het geschenk dat God mij heeft gegeven te blijven gebruiken. Erkan Ozdemir is een van die mensen. Hij is een geweldige bassist en heeft een aantal fantastische jonge mannen en muzikanten grootgebracht, Kenan en Levent. Dit is de tweede keer dat we samenwerken aan een album. In Hansahaus Studios in Bonn, Duitsland, hebben we samengewerkt met een geweldige engineer Klaus Genuit (die toevallig ook een geweldige koffiebar in de studio heeft). We hadden het genoegen om The Texas Horns (Mark \u2018Kaz\u2019 Kazanoff en John Mills) te gebruiken op \u2018Blame it on Me\u2019. Roel Spanjers voegde op \u2018Heartbreak in East Dallas\u2019 prachtig pianowerk en accordeon toe. Simon Oslender heeft op diverse nummers fantastisch orgelwerk toegevoegd. Ik denk dat dit album misschien wel mijn favoriet van allemaal is!
